Notes
Draft. This report records the evaluation completed to date. A criterion that has not yet been fully evaluated is reported as Partially Supports, and its remark says what has been verified so far. It is revised as the evaluation in the accessibility roadmap proceeds.

Evaluation methods used

  • Automated: axe-core (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules) through Playwright on sign-in, registration, password recovery, welcome, the assessment, the positioning score, the dashboard, Career Strategy, the document studio and membership/checkout, run on every change in continuous integration (apps/web/e2e/accessibility.spec.ts). The test account has not yet completed the assessment, so the positioning score, Career Strategy and document studio are checked in their pre-assessment states.
  • Automated keyboard and labelling checks on the sign-in page: the first tab stop is the skip link, form fields have programmatic labels, the page has one h1.
  • Automated verification of PDF/UA-1 structure (veraPDF ISO 14289-1) and Word (DOCX) document title, language and Heading 1/Heading 2 styles (services/xw-render/tests/test_pdf_accessibility.py).
  • Unit-test verification of status messages: the Career Strategy page summarises generating, delivered, failed and locked reads in one polite status region (role="status"), and access-code redemption announces its result.
  • Code inspection of the media components for caption tracks.

Not yet evaluated:

  • Automated checks of the positioning score reveal and of delivered Career Strategy and document studio content.
  • Manual keyboard-only testing of the full candidate journey.
  • Screen-reader testing (NVDA with Chrome, VoiceOver with Safari).
  • An independent third-party audit.
