Overview & Positioning Score
Your overall score out of 100, directional insights, key findings about your profile, and a career situation narrative — an objective read on how you're positioned.
XylaWorks evaluates your background — who you are, what you've done, and where you're trying to go — then shows you how the market reads you, where you fit, and what to do next.
You answer questions about where you want to go, share where you've been, and the platform shows you how you read — with a clear picture of what to do next.
Name the direction you are working toward, the questions you are carrying, or the fact that you are still deciding. The assessment does not require a specific posting.
Add your résumé and the career information the assessment needs. Career Tone accepts up to 2 pages and 1,500 words, whichever limit is reached first. If the résumé exceeds that boundary, Career Tone stops before analysis rather than silently truncating the record. Career Echo or above is designed to include the additional depth.
Career Tone returns the composite score and band, Your Story, and the Diagnostic Read. Career Echo and above open the dimensional scores, deeper lenses, and the work that follows.
Every output is specific to your background, your goals, and your target market. What you receive depends on the tier you choose — each one builds on the one before it.

From Career Echo, each tier includes a defined number of re-runs. Use one when the first pass exposed an omission, when you have better evidence to add, or when a denser record deserves a more complete input.
A re-run applies the same tier depth to the updated information. Earlier runs remain part of your results history, so refinement never costs you the read you already have. Career Tone is a single free diagnostic run and does not include re-runs.
Understanding what XylaWorks does requires understanding what it is not — and why that distinction matters for what you receive.
Start with what you give them. They take your existing résumé and make it look better. Stronger verbs. Keywords added. Formatting cleaned up. The underlying question — how you're positioned in the market, which roles genuinely fit your background, why you are not converting — remains unexamined. You leave with a polished version of the same positioning problem.
Starts before the résumé. The platform evaluates your background across three dimensions — competence, credibility, and contribution — and produces intelligence about how you're positioned, where the evidence is thin, and what to do about it. The résumé is one output of that intelligence. It is not the starting point. The assessment is.
Every output is generated through the 3-Dimensional Leader Framework — a consistent standard applied to every person, every time. Not a template. Not a score derived from keywords. A governed assessment of competence, credibility, and contribution, held to quality standards that exist independently of any individual output.
The result is career intelligence that is specific to you — and consistent because the standard behind it does not change.
If you are an employer, institution, or workforce program evaluating XylaWorks on behalf of your employees, students, or participants — this is exactly the experience they will have. The three steps above are what each person works through on their own. The outputs they receive depend on the tier your organization has purchased access for.
Every person follows the same process. Every output is held to the same standard. No IT involvement required. No scheduling. No staff overhead. Your organization purchases seats — each person redeems one with an access code and works through the platform on their own timeline.
Each departing employee redeems a sponsored seat and works through the platform independently — assessment, strategy, and career documents delivered without appointments or consultant scheduling. The employer can confirm redemption and sees nothing beyond that boundary.
Learn how employers use XylaWorks →Each student redeems a seat through your existing communication channels and works at their own pace. Authorized career services staff may view the career information the student submits, the scoring inputs used in the assessment, score history and score changes across runs, and the platform's outputs — so advising picks up from the same record. Students' private reflections stay their own.
Learn how institutions use XylaWorks →Each participant redeems a seat through your program's existing distribution channels. Authorized program staff may view the career information the participant submits, the scoring inputs used in the assessment, score history and score changes across runs, and the platform's outputs — so case management picks up from the same record. Participants' private reflections stay their own. Aggregate data supports your reporting requirements.
