Dr. Cedric D. Alford holds a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership. His doctoral research examined a specific, documentable problem: why qualified professionals are consistently overlooked, and what makes that invisibility persist inside organizations that believe they evaluate talent objectively.

The findings formed the three-dimensional assessment framework at the core of XylaWorks — not as personal opinion, but as documented research on how organizations actually work and where their evaluation processes fall short.

That research foundation is the starting point. Enterprise Strategy, Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

Held multiple senior leadership roles across 15 years, including leading the global cosell strategy for the Microsoft + Adobe Partnership — responsible for emerging markets, sales, enablement, and partner development worldwide. Advised C-level executives on building and scaling practices around the people, processes, and technology required to compete in complex enterprise ecosystems. Also served as US Director of CRM ISV Recruiting, shaping how Microsoft identified and developed its partner organizations at scale.

Pegasystems

Global Strategy & Partner Development

Transformed global marketplace strategy and built strategic alliance frameworks deployed across international markets. Developed partner enablement methodologies and technical development programs that scaled organizational capability beyond individual contributors — the same institutional design philosophy applied to building XylaWorks.

Academic Faculty — Active

Developing Leaders. Staying Current.

Currently on faculty at Colorado State University Global Campus (Organizational Leadership) and Southern New Hampshire University (MBA Program) — actively developing the next generation of leaders while remaining current on talent gaps, organizational strategy research, and where career advancement barriers are emerging in real time. Previously served as Marketing Faculty Lead at the Jack Welch Management Institute, grounding academic work directly in how organizations function in practice.
